Recently "Op gevoel" the biography of Sylvia Millecam was released in the Netherlands. Sylvia was a Dutch actress who died of breastcancer in 2001 at the age of 45. She played "Greetje" in "Dutch Girls" (1985). The biography, written by Alje Kamphuis, now claims that Colin had a love affair with Sylvia while filming "Dutch Girls".
"I just found out about this about half an hour ago. I didn’t know that someone had written a book. I worked with her … a VERY long time ago – about … twenty years? I think?
"I knew her. But I’m certainly not going to have that sort of question sprung on me overnight. I don’t have any comment to make on the nature of my relationship with her. But I liked her very much, I adored her. So I was very shocked to hear that she died. I didn’t even realize until… I think it was about two years ago that someone told me."
